ECIU visits future member institutions
ECIU has looked eastwards in Europe for new members. At the last Executive Board meeting in Monterrey, Mexico it was decided to invite Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia, and Technical University of Lodz, Poland, for membership to ECIU. A first visit to the Technical University of Lodz took place on February 24.
MODERN Conference and Peer Learning Activity
The third conference under the framework of the MODERN project will be held on May 6 / 7 on the topic of "Quality Assurance in Higher Education" in Amsterdam. In connection with the conference, a peer learning activity will be organised.

With the signature of a protocol for the financing of the Science and Innovation Park, the Board of Directors of the Central Regional Operational Program - “Mais Centro” is investing an amount close to 15.5 million Euros. The University of Aveiro is required to present projects for the various initiatives that are to receive this financial aid until 2013.
